Intertrigo

It is inflammation of the skin caused by two surfaces rubbing together.

This condition is most common in obese people. It is usually seen in:

1. Inner thigh.
2. In the armpits.
3. The undersurface of the breast.
4. In the folds of the abdomen.
5. Between fingers and toes.

The involved skin shows:

1. Red, moist skin.
2. There may be an odor.
3. There are scales or blisters.
