Early sign of Pancreatic cancer

Scientists analysed blood samples over time from 1500 participants in the prospective study.

They found elevated level of branched chain amino acid  were linked with increase incidence of pancreatic cancer.

This study was done at various well known centers.

Also found that in the mice with pancreatic cancers has increased level of branched chain amino acid.The increase was due to breakdown of muscles which leads to 

increase in branched chain amino acids.

This suggests that breakdown of muscles starts much earlier the disease appear.

If this is confirmed then we will be able to diagnose this fatal cancer in the early stage where surgery may cure it.
