CVS nasal spray recall

Nasal spray sold under the CVS brand are recalled because of the threat of a life-threatening infection in some of the patients. This was told by the Food and Drug Administration.

Quest Manufacturing, the maker of the CVS health 12 hours Sinus Relief Nasal Mist, has issued them self that the product may cause severe infection which is called “Microbiological contamination”.

The repeated use of nasal spray containing gram-negative microorganism leads to for the colony which can be life-threatening in some of the patients like those with cystic fibrosis, or immuno-compromised.” according to the recall statement.

The Holly Hill, Florida- based maker of this clear, colorless liquid said it had not found any incidents connected to the products, which was sold at many of CVS’ nearly 10,000 location.
