  • It is believed that banana prevents heart attack, stroke to high blood pressure and infection.
    • Also believed that it takes parts in the healing of the ulcers.
  • It is also said about bananas that they make people laugh.
  • Benefits of the bananas:
    1. It can help to lower the blood pressure.
    2. bananas are a rich source of potassium.
      1. It can have 396 mg of potassium, is 11% of the daily value.
    3. This has significantly lowered the effect of blood pressure. Even it may decrease the dose of antihypertensive drugs.
    4. This also decreases heart disease and stroke.
      1. Because it prevents the plaque formation in the artery.
      2. Also, it will prevent the oxidation of the low-density protein which is bad cholesterol.
      3. Bananas are a good defense for atherosclerosis.
        1. Atherosclerosis leads to high blood pressure, heart attack and stroke.
          1. The only problem is to achieve the above effect then one needs 3 to 6 servings a day.
    5. Bananas may replace the antacids.
      1. This may relieve heartburn and indigestion.
        1. Bananas may act as an antacid.
        2. Bananas may prevent and treat ulcer.
          1. It needs further research.
        3. Bananas play a role as follows:
          1. There may be a chemical,  protease inhibitor appears to kill the harmful bacteria.
          2. Bananas also produce protective mucus, which prevents the acid to damage the epithelium.
        4. Bananas may replace the fluid and nutrients lost in diarrhea.
        5. Bananas are a very good source of electrolytes

          2. It is a good source in dehydration.
        6. Bananas also contain pectin, that is soluble fiber.
          1. It also acts like a sponge in the digestive tract.
          2. It absorbs the fluids, and help to treat diarrhea.
    6. How to keep the bananas or prolong their shelf life:
      1. You keep the banana in the fridge.
      2. It will change the color which will become black.
      3. But the banana inside will be fresh.
      4. Sugar contents are maximum when the peel turns black.
    7. Benefits of the banana peel (cover over the banana):
      1. This is a rich source of vitamin B6 and B12, magnesium, and potassium.
      2. If you keep peel over the wart overnight or rub on it.
        1. It will help to remove the wart.
      3. Peel can be eaten. This is used in the Indian recipes.
      4. Peel if you apply on the pimples for 5 minutes, will cure the pimple. The result will be seen after one week.
      5. Peel will keep the skin hydrated. and remove the wrinkle.
        1. Make a past of peel with egg yolk and apply on the face and leave it for 5 minutes. Wash off after 5 minutes.
      6. Apply the banana peel on the painful area. Leave it for 30 minutes till the pain is relieved.
        1. Peel with vegetable oil mixture can also be applied for the pain area.
      7. If the peel is applied to the psoriatic area will hydrate the are and relieve the itching.
      8. If you rub the banana peel over the shoe, it will shine.
      9. Banana peel protects from the UV light.
