Antibody (Ab)

• These are glycoprotein (Immunoglobulins) produced by the plasma cells.
• Antibodies are produced in response to antigen (Foreign body) stimulation of B – lymphocytes.
• Antibodies are of five types , IgM, IgG, IgA, IgD and IgE.
